Welcome to CIVIC Cleveland! We’re an environmentally focused nonprofit based at Zaclon River Landing (ZRL) in the heart of Cleveland’s Industrial Valley. We partner with a number of government and nonprofit organizations to provide Cuyahoga River access and park-like amenities to users of ZRL. We also host an annual river cleanup along the Industrial Valley stretch of the Cuyahoga River.
Zaclon
Zaclon was the lynchpin donor to the Zaclon River Landing Project. The visionary leadership of the Zaclon founders enabled river access for river users of the Cuyahoga for generations to come.
West Creek Conservancy
West Creek partnered with CIVIC to acquire the site and worked to build basic site infrastructure and preserve the site’s recreational purpose into perpetuity.
CWRU Rowing
CWRU rowing through their alumni organization the Spartan Alumni Rowing Association runs the boathouse at ZRL.
